Grosser (Größer) is a german word, which means "bigger/larger" and this is why the font is so heavy. The design of the font is inspired by the northern European architecture, with its clean lines, simple and strict.
The font was born for posters and applications on big formats, the geometric shapes and the solid structure makes it a very good choice to do posters and graphics where you need an extra bold font with sharp lines.
